BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – Battle Creek Police arrested the driver of a vehicle which was set on fire early Friday morning at the Meijer gas station at 2217 West Columbia Avenue.

The Battle Creek Fire Department was called at 3:21 a.m..

They found a small sedan on fire next to the gas pumps.

The fire was knocked down quickly while crews made sure the emergency shut off for the fuel pump was activated.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire was intentional by the driver who is looking at a arson charge being filed.
