Leafeon has a great set of attacks like Bullet Seed, Razor Leaf, Leaf Blade, Solar Beam, and Last Resort (a common move for all Eevee evolutions). It obviously cannot compete with Venusaur, Sceptile, or Chesnaught, but can be used in the Master League against Ground, Rock, and Water-type enemies.

Among non-Legendary and non-Shadow Pokemon, Espeon is actually the second-best Psychic Pokemon. It can learn Confusion which is often considered the best fast move for the type.

Mewtwo can overpower Espeon any day but for players who still haven’t reached max levels, the latter is a great alternative. Similarly, before unlocking the big guns, it is a strong party member in the PvP leagues.

Glaceon belongs to Ice, which is a great type in the first place. It is more accessible than Weavile and Mamoswine and works like a charm in raids.

The Master League is full of Dragon-Type Pokemon which is where Glaceon shines. It can easily outclass such opponents with ice-type damage and is heavily used against them.

Glaceon’s only weakness is its limited set of attacks. Fire-type Pokemon can be a nightmare against it owing to which many players prefer having Mamoswine in their team.

Yes, Umbreon is the best Dark-type Pokemon for Great and Ultra leagues as its CP caps at 2445. However, this isn’t enough to make it the best Eevee evolution.

Umbreon is pretty much useless in raids as defense is its primary stat. Moreover, the low CP makes a ton of other Pokemon more viable.

Players can use a 100% IV Umbreon in the Ultra League and, for the best results, it should be Lv. 50. The high investment cost is a bummer for many, but it is certainly worth the effort.

Sylveon can learn Charm, which makes it outright broken in PvP battles. Togekiss and Gardevoir are the two best Fairy-type Pokemon in the game but that shouldn’t take anything away from Sylveon. Among all the Eevee evolutions, it certainly offers the most and is not easily replaceable.

Togekiss can outperform Sylveon in the Master League, but it is worth noting that the former is also Flying-type. Being purely Fairy is a big advantage for Sylveon as it is only weak against Steel and Poison.

These avatars also come with “unique expressions, animations, HUD overlay, and emotes.”

Skate is set to take inspiration from Apex Legends’ microtransaction system as they announce their free-to-play live service model.

After the announcement that EA’s new installment to the Skate franchise will be free-to-play, the devs discussed how they are looking at Apex Legends to implement microtransactions.

The hype for a new Skate game is truly real, with the developers releasing more information and gameplay of the title. The franchise has an extremely dedicated fan base, and it seems the community’s wishes are at the forefront of the game’s development.

With the devs revealing that will be a live service free-to-play game that the devs will support for years to come, then came the question of microtransactions, to which they seem to be looking at Apex Legends‘ model for inspiration.

Both Apex Legends and Skate are under Electronic Arts, so it makes sense for the developers at Full Circle to mention Apex Legends in their recent “The Board Room” informational video.

In the video, the devs revealed that Skate will follow a free-to-play live service model, which is a model that has become very popular for multiplayer games in the industry.

Being a free-to-play game usually means seasonal content and microtransactions, which is exactly what Skate will be offering. When on the topic of microtransactions, the devs confirmed that it will be strictly cosmetic, as they are against any sort of pay-to-win system.

Developer Isabelle Mocquard shared some information on how they went about implementing the microtransaction model, stating that they “are taking inspiration from games like Apex Legends or other popular titles that are free-to-play.”

The aspect the devs like about the Apex Legends model is that “spending money is totally optional and is mostly about cosmetics and convenience.” This could also mean that Skate will see events and other seasonal activities to keep players entertained.

They do not want to create a divide between players who would like to spend money and those who don’t, which sounds like a promising system for all.
