Limitations and Maintenance of Portable Extinguishers

Is interior, portable fire equipment necessary? The honest answer can only be yes. Hand-operated equipment, such as fire extinguishers and 1 1/2-inch hose can be useful in a fire emergency if—and this is an enormous if—the user knows how to select and use the proper equipment in a time of excitement.
