While fans are eager to get their hands on Dr Disrespect’s DEADROP, NICKMERCS claims that it’s still too early to praise the battle royale.
Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff assured his viewers that he’d be brutally honest when trying Dr Disrespect’s highly anticipated DEADROP for the first time, even if the battle royale failed to impress.
Dr Disrespect’s Midnight Society gaming studio is currently developing its very first title. The game in development is a vertical battle royale titled DEADROP, and players were treated to their very first look at the game at the beginning of August.
Given Dr Disrespect’s immense popularity, it’s no surprise that DEADROP is garnering a ton of hype. It’s not often that gamers attempt to make their very own game, but Dr Disrespcet has players excited at the prospect of the upcoming battle royale.
Despite the general excitement, fellow top streamer NICKMERCS has urged players to pump the brakes before heaping praise on the yet-to-be-released game.

Prior to this comment by NICKMERCS, DEADROP’s initial gameplay reveal earned a ton of flack from the gaming community due to Dr. Disresepct’s claims that his game looked way better than Modern Warfare 2.
When fans got their first look at DEADROP’s visual quality, they didn’t easily forget Doc’s bold claims. Nonetheless, a ton of excitement remains for the title, proving the age-old adage that even bad press could be good press.
Even NICKMERCS has had his say on the topic after one of his viewers claimed that Dr Disrespect’s game would do things differently and innovate. In his August 14 video, NICKMERCS can be heard issuing a warning to his viewers: “Listen, be careful with The Doc game gas alright? It’s so early!”
The Twitch superstar then joked that the game seems far from finished and that he “might be 50 years old when that s*** comes out.”
A viewer then asked Nick if he’d be honest with the Doc if DEADROP turned out to be trash.
Nick assured his viewers that he wouldn’t compromise his trademark honesty to appease a fellow streamer: “Oh yeah. If you’re in my stream, the one thing I feel you guys should know by now is that I’m brutally honest. It’s hard for me to hide if I don’t like something.”
While the initial reaction to DEADROP’s visual quality was poor, there’s still a ton of time for the developers to work on polishing the game and listening to community feedback. Given his experience in the gaming industry, Dr Disrespect certainly understands the key factors behind DEADROP’s eventual success or failure.

According to a new Fortnite leak, Epic Games might be planning to bring Doom Slayer as a brand-new cosmetic skin.
A brand-new crossover might be arriving in Fortnite as leakers are claiming that Epic Games are planning to add a Doom Slayer skin to the battle royale title.
Epic Games have surprised Fortnite players throughout the seasons by introducing collaborations that add new crossover content to the game, including cosmetic skins for Dragon Ball characters.
Fortnite has also featured crossovers with other video game franchises such as Street Fighter, and new leaks claim that the battle royale title has entered into a collaboration with the Doom franchise.
Doom is a popular first-person shooter franchise that centers around a marine known as Slayer and his epic quest to battle an invasion of demons from hell. This character has also been given the name ‘Doomguy’ by fans of the series.
On August 19, prominent leaker ‘HYPEX’ tweeted that Epic Games are currently planning to introduce a Doom Slayer cosmetic outfit to Fortnite Chapter 3, Season 3 as part of a brand-new crossover.
Doom Slayer skin is most likely coming NEXT WEEK 🔥@MidaRado hasn't been wrong about previous collabs and he just tweeted 3 franchise names (Doom included) claiming that one of them happens next week. Doom 64 is also FREE on the Epic Games Store now until the 25th! pic.twitter.com/0AVmjqGEed
This information reportedly came from another leaker ‘MidaRado,’ and while the exact release date of this brand-new Fortnite skin wasn’t revealed, HYPEX claims that it is “most likely coming next week.”
HYPEX added that Doom 64 is currently available for free on the Epic Games store until August 25 and Fall Guys also has Doom-themed skins. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if Epic Games also added Doom Slayer to Fortnite.
That said, it’s worth keeping in mind that these are currently just leaks, and this information has yet to be officially confirmed by Epic Games. So, we won’t know for sure if this is accurate until next week.

Apex Legends players have discovered the return of the double pump glitch in Season 14, creating controversy in the community.
The infamous double pump glitch has returned in Apex Legends Season 14, leaving players worried about people abusing the bug.
The Apex Legends Season 14 update brought a variety of changes to the game, giving dataminers a new game version to sift through and find details around the potential Season 15 Legend.
As the update brought so much new content and changes, it’s normal for new bugs and glitches to show up, which players have seen with the unlimited loot exploit.
However, players have now discovered that the infamous double pump glitch has returned, making the Peacekeeper and Sentinel even more deadly for those who abuse the bug.
Apex Legends content creator Mokeysniper brought the return of the double pump glitch to the community’s attention on August 18, posting a video of it in action.
The glitch allows players to shoot the Peacekeeper and Sentinel much faster than they should be able to, giving those who use the glitch an unfair advantage over others.
Double Pump is back. Thanks to @Slipperylmao for messaging me about this.#Apexlegends pic.twitter.com/QLWw61L7vC
The glitch is done by shooting, reloading, swapping to your secondary, and swapping back very quickly. If players are able to get the timing right, they can repeat this process to shoot the Peacekeeper/Sentinel in a ridiculously fast manner.
This is clearly a glitch that needs to be addressed and resolved quickly by Respawn, as if it starts to be abused by players, it could create chaos.
In the comments of the Twitter post, there are a few videos of players showing them doing it in-game, which is a worrying sign. Some are very worried about it being absued, with one comment saying “I actually hate that you guys post this kinda s***. It’s always super sick to deal with some broken weird s*** in ranked.”
Hopefully, Respawn can get a fix out for this as soon as possible, much like they were able to do for the accidental removal of tap strafing.
