A truck and a trailer got engulfed in flames after they collided near a petrol pump in Uttar Pradesh’s Barabanki. The accident occurred near the petrol pump belonging to former BJP MLA Baijnath Rawat.
The truck driver sustained serious injuries in the accident. Locals informed the fire station about the accident, but a fire truck failed to reach the spot even after an hour.
The onlookers tried to douse the fire, but to no avail. Later, after an hour, the police reached the site and rushed the driver to a nearby hospital. The driver is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
